The team played against San Ramon Cricket Association (SRCA) on the first day. Despite losing early wickets, Manav batted well scoring 25 with Ayush scoring 14 and Parijat scoring 12. The team put up 99/8 in 25 overs, and took to the field to defend the total. The bowling was very accurate with few extras or loose balls, and SRCA fell 4 runs short. Vardaan S. bowled superbly conceding just 9 runs in 5 overs, with 2 maidens. Ayush P. was Man of the Match for 14 runs, 2 wickets, and a catch.

In game two, the team bowled first to Woodley Tigers. Woodley scored 86/8 with Aniket C. and Ayush P. each taking 2 wickets. We chased it down comfortably in 16.3 overs, only losing one wicket. Manav N. scored a Man of the Match innings of 51 not out, and Joel scored 21.

In game three against Southern California Youth Cricket Academy (SCYCA), the team batted superbly, with Manav N. and Siddharth M. having a 61 run partnership in 43 balls, after Parijat (18) and Noel (14) set up a nice start. Manav N. scored 38 and Siddharth M scored 27. Despite setting up a competitive total, the team could not defend the total against the SCYCA batting. However, due to higher net run rate, the team placed second out of the 4 teams to qualify for the finals.

We got off to a great start in the finals, against SRCA. Joel M. attacked from the start, scoring a fast 18 off 18 balls. From there, Manav N. batted extremely well, scoring 61 not out while getting support from Siddharth M. (22 off 22 balls), putting on a 57 run partnership off 51 balls. Then Shreesh P. came and scored 16 runs. The team finished with 145 runs on the board, a very competitive total. However, SRCA batted extremely well, keeping the game close. The equation came from 34 off of 24 to 26 off of 18, then from 20 off of 12 to 13 off of 6. In a nail-biting last over, SRCA fell 4 runs short. The bowling was excellent, particularly in the death. Ayush P., Noel M., and Shreesh P. each took 2 wickets. Manav was Man of the Match for scoring 61 and taking 1 wicket and 3 catches. The finals was a very evenly matched one, but our team came out on top.

This tournament was great for all our players and it will boost our confidence for future games. Congrats to all our players who participated in the tournament!
