Congrats to our juniors for their first victory! After a nail-biting loss in their first game, they came back strong in their away game, this time a T20, in Orange County.
They were put in to bowl first, showing amazing accuracy with few extras. Suhas N. and Abishek K. each took 2 wickets and had economies of 1.00 and 1.25. In the end, SCYCA was restricted to 74/6.
Our players took it away in the batting. Daksha G. and Abishek K. had a great opening partnership, followed by Hari’s rapid 25 off of 18. They finished the game losing only 3 wickets and facing only 11.4 overs. This was a tremendous win for our juniors, and it will be the first of several more to come.
