Coming right off of the California Cricket Festival, we saw good cricket in this 30 over tournament for the U15s.
Despite the loss in the first game, we came back with a big win the next day having posted 200 runs in the first innings. The third day was a must-win match in order to go to the finals. Unfortunately, our team was just short of a win, losing by 5 runs. However we came back on the last day, beating the team we played on the second day by an even bigger margin. This was led by Siddharth M’s Man of the Match innings of 63.
Parijat A. and Noel M. played for SCYCA in U13. The U13s did not have a great tournament, being unable to win any matches, but they had fun playing and will use this experience for future matches.
