Our U14 team played a total of 5 games in the league –
Game 1 vs SCYCA – Our team had a bad loss in the first game. Our team was not able get in any good performances in this game.
Game 2 vs SCCAY – Our team batted first and scored 99 in 25 overs. Siddharth M. scored 43 runs. Vardaan S., Joel M., Noel M., and Parijat A. each took 2 wickets in the second innings. However, we gave too many extras and lost the game. Siddharth M. was Man of the Match for 43 runs and 1 stumping.
Game 3 vs SCCAY – Our team bowled excellently in the first innings with Noel M. taking 4 wickets and Pranav G. taking 2 wickets. We bowled the opposition out for 78 and chased it down with 9 wickets left. Joel M. (29 not out) and Devam S. (28 not out) had a very mature partnership to take the team home. Noel M. was Man of the Match for his figures of 4/15.
Game 4 vs WYCA – Our guys batted excellently in the first innings. Joel M. (17 runs), Siddharth M. (23 runs), Devam S. (28 runs), and Noel M. (12 not out) took the batting to a competitive total of 131. Our team bowled them out for 74. Joel M. took 3 wickets, and Karan C. and Daksh G. took their first wickets. Joel was Man of the Match for scoring 17 runs, taking 3/13, and taking 2 catches. This was a comfortable win for the team and boosted their confidence heavily.
Game 5 vs SCYCA – Our team batted first and put up a challenging total of 127. Ayush P. scored 27, Noel M. scored 24, and Joel M. scored 22. However, SCYCA batted well and chased it down. Noel ended up with 3 wickets.
