The team is happy to start their season with a victory against SCYCA. We bowled very well, getting the other team all out for 100 in 23 overs. Rohan B. took 3/15 in 5 overs with one maiden. We chased down the target in 20 overs, with good batting from Tejas C. (21 runs), Harshit G. (17 runs), and Aryan J. (11 runs). The team is happy to have such an excellent performance to start the season and boost our younger players confidence.
The team followed up their first victory with another one. They once again bowled first, getting SCYCA all out for 87. Rohan B. once again took 3 wickets, giving only 7 runs in 3 overs. Ayaan B. and Aryan J. each took 2 wickets. The team comfortably chased down the total in 22 overs, with Rohan B. and Ayaan B. each scoring 15 runs. We are proud to see back to back convincing victories from the team and look forward to getting more.
The team lost to SCYCA this time, batting first and putting up 100 runs. Tejas C. led the batting with 14 runs. SCYCA chased down the total in 26 overs, losing 5 wickets. It was a tough game for the team, but we look forward to learning from it and playing better in the future.
We lost this time again to SCYCA in a very close match, with SCYCA winning by 2 wickets. We saw solid batting in our first innings, with Aryan J. scoring 20 not out, Rohan B. scoring 15 and Vivaan B. scoring 12. Unfortunately, we were not able to defend a total of 141/6 in 30 overs, despite great bowling from Deven S. with 3/18 in 5 overs and 2/7 with 2 maidens in 5.2 overs by Rohan B. Close loss, but we are still very happy with our youngsters performances.
We lost by 4 wickets against SCYCA this time. Our boys put up a solid total of 141/4, with Rohan B. scoring 27 runs and Ayaan B. scoring 16 runs. However, we were not able to defend the total, losing in the second to last over.
Our boys won this match by 21 runs. Batting first, we put 155 runs on the board, with Rohan B. scoring 29 and Ayaan B. and Deven S. both scoring 15. We were then able to restrict SCYCA to 134 all out. Amay S. took 2/7 in 2 overs.
